On Sunday 7th July, we glammed up and headed to the Royal Lancaster London for a night we’ll never forget, the British Hairdressing Business Awards 2025. Still buzzing, slightly exhausted from competing as L’Oréal Colour Trophy finalists the week before (because we never do things by halves!), we felt all the imposter syndrome vibes as we mingled with some of the biggest names in the industry.
Convinced we didn’t have a chance… then they called our name.
Salon of the Year. Us. Piper Violet Hair.
It’s hard to put into words how much this means. The entry process alone is no small feat, it dives deep into every corner of your business. From team retention to turnover, client return rates to education investment, this win isn’t just about good hair (although we do that exceptionally well). It’s about everything behind the scenes too.

From our personalised consultations to our ever-evolving refreshments menu (Salon of the Year cocktail, anyone?), everything we do is about putting clients first. And with a brand new refurb coming late autumn 2025, we’re just getting started.
Our one-on-one service, calm creative space, and supportive team culture are what make Piper Violet so special. It’s a team effort, and a family one too (sorry to our actual families, who we’re always promising we’ll be home on time!).
